Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture.
Pour in the milk and stir until a dough forms.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
Cut the dough into squares large enough to wrap around each apple.
Place an apple in the center of each square and wrap the dough around it.
Pinch seams to seal and place dumplings in a greased baking dish.
Drizzle with caramel sauce and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
