Ingredients

  • 1 bone-in ham 5-7 lbs
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • Whole cloves optional
  • Pineapple slices optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • Remove the ham from packaging and place it in a roasting pan.
  • Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern.
  • Insert whole cloves into the intersections of the score marks if using.
  • In a bowl, mix brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar.
  • Brush the mixture generously over the ham.
  • Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 1.5 hours.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes, basting occasionally with the glaze.
  • Once the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C), remove from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
