Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 head of romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1 large tomato diced
  • 1/2 cup pickles sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese optional
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Drain excess fat and season with salt and pepper.
  • Chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced pickles, and diced red onion.
  • Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard in a small bowl to create the dressing.
  • Allow the cooked beef to cool slightly, then add it to the salad bowl.
  • Toss the salad ingredients together gently to combine.
  • Drizzle the sauce over the salad and toss again to coat evenly.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese on top, if using.
  • Serve immediately or chill for later enjoyment.
