Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture; mix well.
  • Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients.
  • Gently fold in the fresh blueberries.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  • Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes.
  • Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
