Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract until combined.

  • Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Scoop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.
