Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh herbs for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, pepper, salt, and paprika.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil.
  • Sear the pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Pour the brown sugar mixture over the pork chops.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs and lemon wedges.
