Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup bell peppers diced
  • 1/2 cup green onions chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain the pasta and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Toss in the shrimp and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning.
  • Cook the shrimp for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink.
  • Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the pasta, shrimp, bell peppers, and green onions. Toss to combine.
