Stir in the sugar, salt, and cinnamon, mixing until smooth.
Add the pecans to the saucepan, stirring to coat them evenly.
Cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the mixture to bubble gently.
Remove from heat and add vanilla extract, stirring well.
Spread the pecans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet.
Once cooled, break apart any clumps and store in an airtight container.
