Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish
  • Your choice of sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or prepare your grill.
  • Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem.
  • Place the cauliflower head upside down on a cutting board.
  • Using a sharp knife, slice the cauliflower into 1-inch thick steaks.
  • Brush each steak with olive oil on both sides.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper evenly over the steaks.
  • Place the cauliflower steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or directly on the grill.
  • Roast or grill the steaks for about 10-12 minutes per side, until golden brown and tender.
  • Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs and serve with your favorite sauce.
