Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Fresh herbs for garnish
  • Optional: lemon juice for drizzling

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem.
  • Slice the cauliflower into 1-inch thick steaks.
  • Brush both sides of the steaks with olive oil.
  • Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  • Place the steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Check for a golden brown color and tender texture.
  • Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice, if desired.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
