Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine shredded cheese and cream cheese until well blended.
  • Add beaten egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the mixture.
  • Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are combined.
  • Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
  • Roll each ball in breadcrumbs to coat evenly.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Carefully place cheese balls in hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
  • Fry for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown on all sides.
  • Remove cheese balls and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
