Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 sesame seed hamburger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1 red onion sliced
  • Pickles
  • Ketchup and mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill or stovetop pan to medium-high heat.
  • Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
  • Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper.
  • Place the patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side.
  • Flip the patties and place a slice of cheese on each.
  • Cook for another 4-5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  • Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  • Assemble the burgers with the patty on the bottom bun.
  • Add toppings like lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
  • Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
