Ingredients

  • 200 g pasta of your choice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  • Boil a pot of salted water and cook the pasta until al dente.
  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine.
  • Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted.
  • Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
  • Drain the pasta, reserving some cooking water.
  • Add the pasta to the skillet and toss in the sauce.
  • Add reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
