Gather all ingredients: chicken, vegetables, spices, and broth.
Season the chicken with garlic powder, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
Place chopped vegetables in the bottom of the crockpot.
Lay the seasoned chicken on top of the vegetables.
Pour in the chicken broth.
Cover the crockpot with the lid.
Set to cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
Check for doneness with a meat thermometer (should reach 165°F).
