Ingredients

  • 6 slices of thick bread
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Butter for cooking
  • Maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  • Cut each slice of bread into 3 equal strips.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
