Once boiling, stop stirring and let it cook without stirring for about 5 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from heat and add chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and salt.
Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan.
Spread it evenly and smooth the top with a spatula.
Let it cool at room temperature for about 2 hours or until set.
Once firm, cut the fudge into squares and enjoy!
