Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • 1-2 tablespoons of butter
  • Optional: garlic powder herbs, or hot sauce

Instructions

  • Gather all ingredients: bread, cheese, and butter.
  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place one slice, butter-side down, on the skillet.
  • Layer cheese slices on top of the bread.
  • Cover with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  • Carefully flip the sandwich using a spatula.
  • Cook the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  • Once both sides are crisp and cheese is melted, remove from heat and slice in half.
