Ingredients

  • 1 ripe pineapple
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional
  • Lime juice to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • Cut the crown off the pineapple and slice it in half lengthwise.
  • Remove the core from each half.
  • Score the pineapple flesh in a crisscross pattern without cutting through the skin.
  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • Sprinkle the sugar mixture evenly over the pineapple.
  • Drizzle honey and lime juice over the top if desired.
  • Place the pineapple halves on the grill, cut side down.
  • Grill for about 3-4 minutes until grill marks appear.
  • Flip the pineapple and grill for another 3 minutes.
