Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
  • Gradually add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients.
  • Stir until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes.
  • Form the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl.
  • Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rise for 1 hour.
  • Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
  • Place the loaf into a greased loaf pan.
  • Cover and let rise again for about 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes.
