Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Toppings of your choice pepperoni, olives, basil, etc.

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
  • Gradually add warm water and olive oil.
  • Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  • Place dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a cloth. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  • Transfer dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  • Spread pizza sauce evenly over the base.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously on top.
  • Add your choice of toppings and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
