Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan.
Once boiling, remove from heat and add tea bags.
Steep the tea for 5-10 minutes based on your desired strength.
Remove tea bags and stir in sugar until dissolved.
Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
Transfer tea to a pitcher and refrigerate until chilled (about 30 minutes).
To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes.
Pour chilled tea over the ice.
Add lemon slices and fresh mint leaves for garnish.
