Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tea bags black, green, or herbal
  • 1/4 cup sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan.
  • Once boiling, remove from heat and add tea bags.
  • Steep the tea for 5-10 minutes based on your desired strength.
  • Remove tea bags and stir in sugar until dissolved.
  • Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
  • Transfer tea to a pitcher and refrigerate until chilled (about 30 minutes).
  • To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes.
  • Pour chilled tea over the ice.
  • Add lemon slices and fresh mint leaves for garnish.
