Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, coating thoroughly.
  • Transfer the chicken to the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure an even coating.
  • Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the top of each chicken breast.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
