Ingredients

  • 1 pack of lumpia wrappers
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup finely chopped carrots
  • 1 cup green beans finely chopped
  • 1 cup cabbage shredded
  • 1 small onion minced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine ground pork, carrots, green beans, cabbage, onion, garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  • Take a lumpia wrapper and place about 2 tablespoons of the filling near one edge.
  • Fold the sides over the filling, then roll tightly from the edge closest to you.
  • Seal the edge with a bit of water or egg wash.
  • Repeat the process until all filling is used.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  • Fry the lumpia in batches until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce or vinegar dip.
