Ingredients

  • 12 oz. spaghetti
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 jar 24 oz. marinara sauce
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks.
  • Once browned, drain excess fat and add marinara sauce to the skillet.
  • In a bowl, mix together cottage cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • In a greased baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti on the bottom.
  • Add the meat sauce on top of the spaghetti layer.
  • Spread the cottage cheese mixture over the meat sauce.
  • Top with the remaining spaghetti and sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
