Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a mini cupcake pan with liners.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add softened butter to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and mix in vanilla extract and milk.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture, stirring until just combined.
Fill each mini cupcake liner about 2/3 full with batter.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow cupcakes to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, frost with your favorite icing.
Decorate with sprinkles or edible decorations as desired.
