Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Butter or oil for greasing
  • Toppings of choice fruits, syrup, whipped cream

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
  • In another bowl, beat the egg and add milk and melted butter.
  • Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  • Pour small amounts of batter onto the skillet.
  • Cook until bubbles form, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Flip the pancakes and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden.
  • Remove from skillet and keep warm while cooking the remaining batter.
  • Serve warm with your choice of toppings.
