Ingredients

  • Tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheese cheddar or Monterey Jack
  • 1 cup cooked ground beef or turkey
  • ½ cup black beans canned and drained
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • ½ avocado diced
  • ¼ cup sliced jalapeños
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Optional: guacamole and salsa

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spread tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle the cooked ground meat over the chips.
  • Add the black beans evenly across the chips.
  • Generously top with shredded cheese.
  • Place in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  • While the nachos bake, prepare fresh toppings: dice tomatoes and avocado.
