Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
Mix 1 cup of Oreo crumbs with melted butter to form a crust.
Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
Beat the cream cheese until smooth.
Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until well incorporated.
Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until combined.
Layer half of the cream mixture over the crust.
Sprinkle half of the remaining Oreo crumbs on top.
Repeat with the rest of the cream mixture and crumbs.
Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Drizzle with chocolate ganache before serving, if desired.
