Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies about 36 cookies
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache optional for drizzling

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
  • Mix 1 cup of Oreo crumbs with melted butter to form a crust.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  • Beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until well incorporated.
  • Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until combined.
  • Layer half of the cream mixture over the crust.
  • Sprinkle half of the remaining Oreo crumbs on top.
  • Repeat with the rest of the cream mixture and crumbs.
  • Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Drizzle with chocolate ganache before serving, if desired.
