Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a shallow bowl, whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
  • In another bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, ensuring it's fully coated.
  • Transfer the chicken to the breadcrumb mixture and coat thoroughly.
  • Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the top of each chicken breast.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
