Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Pour the canned peaches (with syrup) into the dish.
Spread the peaches evenly across the bottom.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the peaches, covering them completely.
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
(Optional) Sprinkle cinnamon and nuts on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
