Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 1 cup onions sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme for garnish

Instructions

  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove the chops from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add sliced onions and mushrooms.
  • Sauté until onions are translucent and mushrooms are tender.
  • Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir well.
  • Gradually add chicken broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  • Return the pork chops to the skillet and cover.
  • Simmer for 20 minutes until the pork is cooked through and tender.
