Ingredients

  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix until well combined and form into meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter).
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of oil.
  • Brown the meatballs on all sides for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Once browned, add marinara sauce to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
  • Cover and cook for an additional 15 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
  • Toss the cooked spaghetti in the sauce until well coated.
  • Serve spaghetti topped with meatballs and garnish with fresh basil.
