In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture, alternating with milk.
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
