Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs.
Beat with an electric mixer for about 2 minutes until smooth.
Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes in the pan.
Poke holes all over the cake using the end of a wooden spoon.
In a separate bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water.
Stir in cold water and then pour over the cake, filling the holes.
Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours to set.
Top with whipped cream and fresh strawberries before serving.
