Ingredients

  • 1 box of vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries pureed
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup of whipped topping
  • 1 package of strawberry gelatin
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, and water until combined.
  • Fold in the pureed strawberries into the cake batter.
  • Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely.
  • Once cooled, poke holes all over the cake using a fork.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and strawberry gelatin.
  • Pour the gelatin mixture over the poked cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes.
  • Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
