Ingredients

  • 1 lb of your choice of meat carne asada, chicken, or pork
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime cut into wedges
  • Salsa your preferred type
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Start by marinating the meat with olive oil, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Grill the marinated meat for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  • Remove the meat from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • While the meat rests, warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
  • Dice the grilled meat into small pieces.
  • Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of meat on each tortilla.
  • Top with diced onions and chopped cilantro.
  • Squeeze fresh lime juice over the tacos.
  • Serve with salsa on the side for added flavor.
