Ingredients

  • 12 large button mushrooms
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems carefully.
  • Chop the mushroom stems finely and set aside.
  • In a bowl, combine cream cheese, parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, and chopped mushroom stems.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste, mixing until well blended.
  • Stuff each mushroom cap with the filling generously.
  • Arrange the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the mushrooms.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
