Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup whole milk warmed
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter for brushing
  • Cinnamon sugar for topping

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes.
  • Add melted butter, sugar, and salt to the yeast mixture.
  • Mix in the eggs, and gradually add the flour until the dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
  • Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces.
  • Shape each piece into a ball and place them in a greased baking pan.
  • Cover the rolls and let them rise again for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Brush warm rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
