Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 can 12 oz evaporated milk
  • 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup milk for soaking
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Fresh fruits for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat eggs with sugar until pale and fluffy.
  • Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  • Gradually incorporate flour mixture into the egg mixture.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Once baked, allow the cake to cool completely.
  • In a separate bowl, mix evaporated milk, condensed milk, and heavy cream.
  • Poke holes in the cooled cake using a fork and pour the milk mixture over the cake, allowing it to soak.
  • Top with whipped cream and fresh fruits before serving.
