In a large pot, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat.
Add diced onions and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add the ground turkey to the pot, breaking it up as it cooks.
Cook until the turkey is browned and no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes.
Sprinkle in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper; stir to combine.
Pour in the crushed tomatoes and stir well.
Add both types of beans and mix thoroughly.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
Let the chili simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
